Sylva

Sinopse

To those who lived near Richwick Court, Sylva was a mentally retarded girl whose uncle was looking after her. But to Richwick, Sylva was the result of a miracle. She was the transformation of a vixen into a woman, a woman as wild as any fox. In Sylva, Vercors has created as appealing and beguiling a heroine as can be found in contemporary fiction - and in this bizarre, sophisticated, fantastic, evocative, wonderfully charming book which bears her name, he has written a novel which should create as much of an impression as his internationally famous Le Silence de la Mer.
