Sweet Sorrow

Sinopse

Fate throws them together - a disastrous flood, an isolated stone house, a handsome and successful surgeon, and a lovely young girl. When doctor Guy Denver sees a car plunging into floodwater, he manages to rescue the unconscious occupant and take her to the only shelter available to them - a cottage that has obviously been newly abandoned. As Celia Hammond recovers, and the couple find themselves marooned for five days, there are bound to be difficult - as the floodwaters advance on their little refuge. He saved her life - and stole her heart. Then the waters finally recede, Celia knows that dashing Guy is her life's only love and he returns her passion - but his sense of honour will not let him speak. The doctor has a wife at home, a woman who will never set him free Will the sweets of sorrow soon turn to bitterness? Or love fulfilled?
