More Than Scuttlebutt The U.S. Navy Demolition Men in WW II

Sinopse

Detailing operations in Europe and the Pacific, More Than Scuttlebutt is the most thorough report to date, including a verified list of more than 4,000 men who served in storied units. Illustrated with over 500 photos, and many years in the making, it is the culmination of a concentrated effort to record a complex era in naval amphibious history, giving due recognition to unit activity, large and small, plus a revealing window on little-known work of the Demolition Research Unit that supported the men in the field, and the Joint Army Navy Experimental Testing Board.
