Sinopse

Young people from across the United States and from all walks of life talk candidly about their first forays into the real world of work. The honest, first-person accounts offer tips for surviving the first months on the job and other advice not found in typical career guides. The young authors describe learning the hard way the written and unwritten rules of life on the job, and they talk about dealing with difficult coworkers, tough bosses, criticism, stringent deadlines, dress codes, and harassment.
