Karen Blixen: en digterskæbne i billeder

Sinopse

"Few authors have been photographed as much as Isak Dinesen, and her life, which was so filled with drama and adventure, is a perfect subject for an illustrated biography. She and her family were always willing to pose, and thus there exists a large number of pictures from her childhood, including the years at the great castles and manor houses in which her family lived. Her life was also documented during her days in Africa with those she so loved on her farm in Kenya; there followed the tragic return to Denmark in the 1930's, her re-establishing herself again in Denmark and beginning the books for which she would be famous, and her triumphant world travels ... Frans Lasson and Clara Svendsen, who was Isak Dinesen's literary secretary, have compiled written illuminating captions to each photograph."--Dust jacket.
