Obviously, sexuality is a central aspect of close romantic relationships, yet according to Harvey (U. of Iowa), Wenzel (U. of North Dakota), and Sprecher (Illinois State U.), there has been little work attempting to comprehensively examine the intersection of research on interrelated aspects of close relationships and sexuality. They present 25 contributions organized into sections exploring the role of sexuality in the formation and maintenance of close relationships, the "dark side" of sex (jealousy, unrequited lust, etc.), sexuality in special types of couples and contexts, and applications and clinical aspects.
