Before the King's majesty

Sinopse

"Before the King's Majesty includes an introductory essay which traces the key influences that shaped Lancelot Andrewes' faith and understanding, explores his theology and his preaching style, and assesses his legacy. The extracts from his sermons, prayers and catechistical works which follow allow the development of his doctrine and devotion to be fully savoured."--Jacket.
