Sinopse

A dark fraternity. A web of conceit. Charlie Parker is hired to investigate the apparent suicide of a former flame, Grace Peltier. A graduate student, Grace had been writing a damning thesis on religious cults. Elsewhere, an abortion doctor is found, nested in a cocoon of brown recluse and black widow spiders. And, a world away but somehow connected, a mass grace is uncovered . . . As these events fatefully converge, Parker is being followed. Someone is creeping into his world and infesting it with darkness. Someone whose venom seeps into communities and weaves destruction. Someone who goes by the name of Mr. Pudd.
