Hockney posters

Sinopse

"Throughout his career, Hockney's work has been the subject of numerous one-man exhibitions all over the world. These shows are advertised by posters--many of them supervised by Hockney or actually produced by him--that represent a graphic summary of his work. Hockney has traveled widely, taking inspiration from the places he has visited, and the posters follow his travels and exhibitions. His work has gone through a wide range of styles, and his posters chart and reflect these changes. Only one definitive private collection exists, containing more than 120 examples of his posters. Hockney Posters is the illustrated catalogue of a comprehensive exhibition derived from this collection, shown in Britain, Japan; and the United States to mark David Hockney's fiftieth birthday."--book jacket.
