Feminisms and Ruralities examines the unstable, shifting, and complex nature of rurality and feminism and their intersection. This multifaceted study is focused through two lenses, the feminist movement and rural women and feminist perspectives of rurality. The first section explores feminism in the lives of the rural women from different historical, geographical, and socio-cultural environments. The second section investigates how feminist perspectives can and have enriched studies of the rural.
