Sinopse

Emily King ia a thirty year old scholar and tutor in French. She is no ingénue, but when she meets Lewis Lincoln, an economist in his mid-forties, inexplicably her world starts to revolve around him. He is attractive and charming but his elusiveness begins to anger Emily. What is he hiding? And how can Emily keep her longing to know him from spiralling into obsession?
