Sinopse

"The author's journey evolves on three continents and traces his odyssey as a pre-Vatican II high school student in Belgium, a seminarian in Rome during Vatican II, a priest-missionary in the Philippines, and a lay teacher at Notre Dame Preparatory School in Baltimore, Maryland. Convinced that the Second Vatican Council is a real "New Pentecost" for the church, he relates how the spirit of Vatican II took form in his life, meeting the challenges of those who resist renewal, and finding, in the end, his true vocation. The reader is introduced to the main themes and documents of Vatican II and is witness to the birth of a "Vatican II school" at Notre Dame Preparatory."--Back cover.
