Sociedad participativa en El Salvador

Sinopse

"Studies the role nongovernmental organizations and (a revitalized?) civil society have played and can play in El Salvador. Varied topics include the changing Catholic Church; social-movement and labor-union activity; the cultural-poetical analysis of Salvadorans as'people on the cross;' and a broad overview of the (necessarily conflictual) role that NGOs will play as society reorganizes itself in an era of reduced State efforts"--Handbook of Latin American Studies, v. 57.
