Sinopse

"Hollywood superstar Max Conroy has everything an A-lister should have: money, power, a gorgeous wife ... and a small drug problem. Max's agent sends him to a rehab center where they use bizarre treatments to ease Max's drug cravings-treatments that also seem to be destroying his sanity. But that isn't Max's only problem: his agent didn't send him to rehab to get clean-he sent Max there to die. After years of soft celebrity life, Max finds himself in trouble and on the run. Relying on the tough and beautiful sheriff's deputy Tess McCrae, Max tries to evade a demented killer, but a showdown is coming. Along the way, Max realizes he's not just an icon. He's a fighter and he's in a fight for his life."--Page 4 of cover.
