The art question

Sinopse

"'What is art?' is a question many of us want answered but are too afraid to ask. It is the very question that Nigel Warburton demystifies in this book. With the help of varied illustrations, from Cézanne and Francis Bacon, to Warhol and Damien Hirst, Warburton brings a philosopher's eye to the art question." "The Art Question is a guide through the art maze and is for anyone interested in art or philosophy, or for those who simply like looking at and thinking about pictures."--Jacket.
