Essex harvest

Sinopse

"Arthur Brown...was for many years the mainstay of the Centre for Local History at the University. He wrote extensively on Essex rural history.... This collection of essays in his memory reflects the debt of gratitude that Essex history owes to Arthur. They have been written to reflect his interest in Essex rural history and of the encouragement that he gave to each of the essayists as colleagues and students." -- from back cover.
