Arthurian myths and alchemy

Sinopse

"This book places Edward's reign in a scientific and cultural milieu for the first time, vividly bringing to light the world of the medieval alchemist, transmuting the dull antimony of previous political studies to shining gold. In a ground-breaking study the author explores one of the most neglected late medieval kings, providing essential reading not only for late medieval and fifteenth-century historians, but for anyone who is curious about this talented and complicated man."--BOOK JACKET.
