Sinopse
The Sherpa are a Tibetan-speaking people who moved into the valleys of eastern Nepal in the middle of the sixteenth century. This collection of 19 documents about the Sherpa covers a period from the 1950s to 1990s. The Sherpa environment, religion, and social change have received the most attention by these authors.
