A pictorial history of Waco

Sinopse

In 1945 Roger Conger wrote and published Highlights of Waco History, a brief but factual reviewal of this city's colorful past. Concerning this book, The Southwestern Historical Quarterly stated in its review that "it might well serve as a model for numerous other Texas towns and cities." This edition includes a sweeping portfolio of fascinating photographs concerning Waco and McLennan County, from the author's unequaled collection. The number finally included came to 560, probably establishing a new pattern and a new high in the annals of photographic history.--Amazon.com.
