The decorative work of Robert Adam

Sinopse

"Attention is focused here on the general interior decorative treatment, the walls, chimney-pieces, ceilings, floors, and decorative accessories. Though mentioned peripherally, exteriors and plans are beyond the scope of this study; and furniture, with the exception of such large pieces as organs, wall cabinets, and bookcases, has been similarly excluded."--Preface, page vii.
