Sinopse

One day at a time Ellen Paterson had to cope with a lot. Her sister, Linda, had been admitted to an Everett, Washington, alcoholism treatment center,and Linda's two young children, Laura and Patrick, were frightened and bewildered. The last thing Ellen expected was to fall in love with her sister's doctor. But Nick Braden made Ellen feel whole and content for the first time. With Laura and Patrick, the four of them were almost a real family! Nick knew he and Ellen were meant to be together. But there was something he hadn't told her.
