Cleopatra

Sinopse

Cleopatra was born into royalty in late 70 or early 69 B.C., and she lived a life of privilege and opulence in Alexandria, one of the wealthiest and most sophisticated harbor cities of its time. But she also came of age during a time when the power of Rome was rising and her family's dynasty was falling. Historians and scholars have alternately described her as a seductress and murderer to astute politician and majestic ruler. Alluring and controversial, Cleopatra remains one of the most famous women who ever lived, and this biography attempts to provide as balanced and accurate account of this ancient leader's life as possible for a new generation of young readers.
