Selena was only an ordinary working girl—although she was a very nice and intelligent girl, and the work, designing beautiful and exotic dresses, was absorb-ing and rewarding work—but the two men in her life were very far from ordinary: Martin Tanser-Reed and Kurt Johanssen. They were both handsome, attractive, and very wealthy—and each of them was pursuing her relentlessly. But men like that didn't usually treat girls like her as anything but playthings—and Selena had no intention of being anyone's plaything.
