The Mountain Rose

Sinopse

Rose Trilogy (#2) With her dog running alongside, Susannah eased her wagon down the Colorado mountainside high above the white waters of the raging river. In this valley she'd staked her claim to the future - and her cherished dreams of independence. She never suspected that men greedy for her land were waiting just ahead - or that in a moment of terror, she'd plunge into the river's deadly current... Conor O'Rourke heard her screams and saved Susannah from the icy waters. As he held her in his arms, Conor felt desire flame, branding him with its white hot fury. With his guns and bare fists, he would help Susannah fight for her land. But Conor was a loner, rugged as the untamed land, a man whose past was shadowed in secrets. Loving him could bring danger - or untold ecstasy - to the bold woman willing to risk her heart.
