A Lady's Proposal

Sinopse

HE PRICE OF LOVE No man can wed Helena Woodhall. Known as Lady Hel, the beautiful heiress has turned away all suitors, believing they covet her wealth. But when a series of harrowing mishaps follow her, she realizes she must marry for protection. Lord Simon Sanger, a former army officer who inherited his title, is just the man for the job. And because he has also gained a tumble-down estate and tons of debts, Lady Hel is confident he will accept her proposal. But Lord Sanger, a man of honor --- and very handsome too --- is aghast at being thought a fortune hunter. Insulted at the affront, he turns down her offer. Now, Lady Hel must convince this prideful Lord that in him, she needs more than a haven from danger, but the priceless gift of his love.
